under the auspices of the Falun Cultural Committee, at
Galleri Hörnan.
In the entrance to the city library in central Falun is Galleri Hörnan – a gallery for professional artists that shows current, contemporary art from near and far.
Ulva Kvarn is located just north of Uppsala, where I will be showing my oil paintings. While you are here you can view crafts, glassware, other art, but also visit Café Ulva Kvarn, they offer a relaxing and cozy atmosphere for you to enjoy a cup of coffee, a good sandwich, a delicious piece of cake or a home-baked cookie.
Ulva kvarn is an artisan and craft village just north of Uppsala, that has grown up around the rapids of the Fyrisån river. The name ULVA comes from Ulva Vad, a pass for wolves, where the wolves could wade across the Fyrisån.
Ulva is an old watermill and has been found to be mentioned in older scripts already at the beginning of the 14th century. The mill house was built much later, around 1757-59. At the turn of the last century, there was also a manor house, sawmill, loom and a small farm.
Galleri Agardh & Tornvall, founded in 1974 by Bengt Tornvall, currently represents 22 artists. Since its inception, the gallery has presented over 300 solo exhibitions by Swedish and international artists.
Shortly, I will be starting a newsletter with updates on exhibitions, last paintings, "artwork-in-process" and other interesting topics, and it will be sent out 4-6 times annually. Just go to the About me section, and send me an email.
To find the title, size and price of the painting, just move your mouse pointer over the painting and the information will pop-up! Most paintings are available except those marked with SOLD!
